Diablo 3 Paragon Levels
There’s big changes coming to patch 1.0.4 and of them is “Paragon levels” which is a new leveling system for 60′s. These paragon levels grants you 3% Magic Find and 3% Gold Find per level, meaning when you have reached Paragon level 100, you will always have 300% gold and magic find. Which also means GF and MF gear will become useless for you to wear as well Nephalem Valor buffs (except for the guaranteed rare drops of course). For each new Paragon level you reach, you will also gain core stats such as Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Vitality. With this new system in place, they’re is capping the MF and GF to 300%.
Paragon Experience Bar
Here’s how the Paragon experience bar will look like after hitting level 60. It will basically replace the experience bar with the new paragon system and instead of a orange color, it’s now blueish.
Paragon Portrait Progression
Here you can see how your in-game portrait will display your Paragon progression.
This Paragon system will add some end-game value because everyone wants to feel like they’re making some progress, even if it’s just about some gold and magic find and minor stat boosts. This idea must have its origin from Kripparrian who made a brilliant suggestion about champion levels for level 60′s to bring some end-game value to the game. I’m almost positive they will create a ladder for this system just as Kripp mentioned.
How long do you guys think it will take to reach level 100? As long as it took to reach level 99 in Diablo 2, maybe?
