Diablo 3 Release Date in Early 2012
Sometimes on the official Diablo 3 community site, upcoming posts sometimes appear in the navigation to the right before they actually get posted officially. Luckily, someone took a screenshot of the leaked post, called “Soon Was Too Soon — Diablo 3 III to Arrive in Early 2012″. This kind of confirms that the game is not coming out in 2011, but in early 2012. Take a look at the screenshot and see for yourself.
Update: It’s official that Diablo 3 is coming out in 2012, by Blizzard Entertainment CEO Mike Morhaime.
Mike Morhaime: We commonly use the term “soon” when referring to Blizzard releases, because we know that no matter how hard we’re working to reach a target, we’re not going to compromise and launch a game before it’s ready. For Diablo III, we were aiming to launch by the end of 2011. As we’re announcing globally today, our new target for the game is early 2012.

Man, that really sucks. =(
This also means that the beta will last longer, so everyone’s chances of becoming invited to the beta has just raised by 0000.1%.
If I get to play the beta, then i’m aboslute fine with a 2012 release.
Well on Starcraft 2 beta everyone was able to get in sooner or later if you really want to, as everyone in the beta was able to invite two other’s.
